Hi all, recently I have been to wonderla Hyderabad. It has been opened recently on April 1st 2016. It's a wonderful experience to visit this place. For those who all don't know about, it's an amazement park with lot adventure rides and water games.
How to reach:
Route map: You can find exact location here. It is located in the area of Adibatla and it is adjacent to ORR(Outer Ring Road). Take Exit no:13 from ORR to reach Wonderla park.
Transportation: Currently no public transport facilities available. People needs to opt for their own or Cabs or bikes. In future can expect RTC buses might be provided.
Booking tickets: Tickets can be booked either online or at premises. Ticket cost varies on weekdays and weekends. There are regular and fast track categories in the tickets. Fast track cost is double the regular price. Waiting time would be minimal for rides with fast track tickets. Prices are as below:
Regular on weekdays: Adult: 990/-, Children: 790/-
Regular on weekends: Adult: 1290/-, Children: 1030/-
Fast track on weekdays: Adult: 1980/-, Children: 1580/-
Fast track on weekdays: Adult: 2580/-, Children: 2060/-
Apart from ticket costs other expenses are for food inside park. Renting a locker for 100/-. All rides are free once you enter into the park.
Timings: Mon-Sun: 11:00 AM to 07:00 PM
Though park is opened at 11:00AM it's better to be there at location an hour before. Park your vehicles comfortably buy the tickets(will find long standing lines there) and buy nylon dresses, sun caps..etc. I would say 11:00 to 7:00 is a short span of time. Better be there early to cover all all rides.
Food and facilities:
Food court: There is a nice food court available. It's reasonably good. People can get both veg and non-veg items. I tried Biryani which is good.
Locker: Locker facility is available to put a small size duffle bag or any personals. Once we enter inside the park there are counters to hire a locker. Rs.500/- is collected as advance for each locker, in which Rs.400/- would be refunded once the locker keys handed over.
Locker key is provided as a rubber watch with a dummy dial. You place the watch dial to locker and the door opens with sensor effect.
Changing rooms: There are separate clean and well maintained changing rooms available for ladies and gents inside the park. These rooms also have showers and toilets.
Shopping:
First Aid: A descent enough first aid facility is available with Wonderla Hyderabad. They take care of small injuries, sun strokes, fever...etc. They even have an ambulance to handle emergency situations.
Dress code: Come on this is not a school right! But only thing is while entering water rides you are only permitted with nylon dress. These nylon dresses you can bring your own or you can buy at park's premises. For dry rides you can on your wish no one to stop.
